My name is Kaythi Khin. I came from Burma (Myanmar). I am
majoring in Liberal Arts, Math and Science here at LaGuardia
Community College. This is my second time tutoring as an API
tutor. I tutored the course Pre-calculus last semester, and
this semester, I am tutoring Calculus 1. I love mathematics.
But it is only fun when you know and understand the subject.
The main reason I am part of API is because I just love
tutoring. The feeling I get when students appreciate my
efforts is irreplaceable. Whenever I see classmates having
difficulties in math, I can't help but asking them if they
want me to tutor them after class. But I am not different. I
know that all the API tutors are giving their best. They all
want you to get benefits from API study sessions. I just
want to advise that you are not going to lose anything by
attending and participating in API study sessions. Instead
you will gain something valuable. So try them and just give
them a chance. You will not be disappointed!
