My name is Jonathan
Hernandez and I am a Computer Science major attending
LaGuardia Community College. I was born on July 29, 1987 and
raised in the Bronx, New York. When I was sixteen years old;
I moved to Queens, New York. My background is American,
Puerto Rican and Colombian.
My main interest since I was a little kid was playing video
games and so I have always dreamed of becoming a game
programmer for a gaming company. Since I was little, I used
to tell myself “Why play videogames, when I can to go
college, learn how to program my own games and then get paid
for doing something I love?” And so, after finishing my
schooling I hope to get an internship in a gaming company so
I can really see what it is like to be a game programmer.
Hopefully this will be my final semester at LaGuardia. Once
I graduate, I want to transfer to Queens College and pursue
my Bachelor’s of Science degree and then continue by
studying for a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. My dream
is to finish my education by earning a Ph. D in Computer
Science.
