Hello. My name is Crystal Diaz. I am a Pennsylvania
resident who is attending LaGuardia Community College. This
is my third semester. My major is Occupational Therapy
Assistant (OTA) and I plan on becoming a LaGuardia graduate.
My long-term goal is to get my Master’s degree in
Occupational Therapy so that I can make a difference in
people’s lives.
I am an API Leader tutoring psychology. The reason I decided
to become a tutor is because I know that college can be
frustrating, challenging, and overwhelming, so I feel it is
very important for me to help my peers in any way I can. I
chose to tutor psychology because it was one course that I
really enjoyed. In it, I’ve learned a lot about our minds,
our feelings and our bodies and I hope to share all my
knowledge with students this semester. I want to make life a
little more manageable and stress-free for them and
ultimately help them reach their highest potential.
