Hi. My name is Wontai Choi
but everyone calls me as Wontae since it is my correct name.
However, because of my mother’s mistake that she put wrong
alphabet on the passport, I became Wontai here. I was born
and raised in Busan, South Korea.
When I was a child, I always dreamed of traveling around the
world and experiencing many different cultures. So I decided
to carry out my goal step by step. I started to achieve my
goal was right after military service in 2006. My first goal
was to visit London and lots of places in Europe. While I
was traveling, I just happened to think that I wanted to
study in New York City because I considered this city to be
the most diverse city in the world.
So after my trip to Europe, I just came here and started
attending LaGuardia Community College. I am very glad to be
studying at this college, because this is the place where I
can experience a lot about cultures from around the world.
Furthermore, an opportunity to become an API tutor just
happened to me, I was really lucky. So now I am very happy
to be one of the API leaders. From this experience, I am
sure that I am going to grow up and get rewarding knowledge
as well
Finally, I am always available for the students who need my
help in MAT 120- statistics. Come to my sessions. It will
make the class easier and easier.
